Taxi & Private Transfer
Most arriving passengers who don't rent a car use a taxi or a pre-booked private transfer to reach their North Coast destination. We have not found an official published tariff for airport taxis, so this page covers how to plan and what to confirm, rather than quoting prices we can't verify.
Pre-booked private transfer
Many hotels and resorts along the North Coast can arrange a private transfer from the airport, or you can book one independently in advance. This is generally the more predictable option, since price, vehicle, and pickup point are agreed before you fly.
- Confirm the total price in advance, including any luggage or peak-season surcharges.
- Get the driver's contact details and a description of the vehicle if possible.
- Share your flight number with the transfer company so they can track delays.
- Confirm the exact meeting point at the terminal before you travel.
Taxis on arrival
Taxis are typically available outside the terminal. Since we could not verify a fixed or metered tariff structure from an official source, agree the fare with the driver before departing, and have your destination address ready — ideally written in Arabic.
What we could not verify
Specific taxi tariffs, official transfer operators, and any airport-authorized taxi rank system are not covered here because we could not confirm them against a reliable source. If you have verified, current information on any of these, see our corrections page to let us know.
